On 26 April 2012 a high-profile transatlantic symposium brought together more than 200 American and European crisis management experts – including European External Action Service Executive Secretary General Pierre Vimont, and former US National Security Advisor, General Jim Jones – for a day-long discussion of the EU's current and future crisis management capabilities, specific operations and missions, and future transatlantic cooperation in crisis management.
Mostra collaborated with its PROI partner Widmeyer Public Affairs to help the EU Delegation to the United States in Washington, D.C. host the symposium. With just over one month to plan and conduct the event, responsibilities included venue selection, catering, audiovisual and transcription services, event signage, kits and badges, invitation and registration management.
