From the 27-29 March 2009, Mostra organised the ‘Study in Europe’ area at the ‘Expo Belta’ Fair in Sao Paulo (Brazil). The event, organised on behalf of the European Commission DG Education and Culture, aimed to raise the profile of European Universities and push students from outside the EU, and more specifically in this case, young Brazilians, to come study in Europe. In order to make this a success, 21 booths representing over 15 countries were brought together in the ‘Study in Europe’ area. Moreover, 18 workshops of 30 minutes’ each were hold, and a ‘Study in Europe’ brochure, flyer, poster and DVD were disseminated in Portuguese. More than 15.000 students visited the Fair this year, making this initiative a great success.
