Practice makes perfect for PROI

Organised and hosted by Mostra, a member of PROI*, Brussels was the backdrop of the innaugural PROI Public Communication Practice Group on 7 June 2012.

Taking place at the Brussels Press Club Europe, the Practice Group event was attended by 14 participants from 10 national PROI agencies and was structured around the theme of place branding.

Heralded by the Financial Times as 'the world's leading practitioner of branding and identity', brand expert, lecturer and author, Wally Olins, delivered the keynote address at the event. Partners from Lansons (UK) and fischerAppelt (Germany) were also on hand to present relevent case studies and foster discussion and the exchange of good practices.

Considered a great success by participants, it is hoped that this Practice Group is the spring board for many such events in the future, aimed at strengthening PROI collaboration and the delivery of excellence in its members' client services.
