On 19 June, an ICF Mostra-produced documentary clip titled, “Winner of the European Mobility Week – Almada”, was awarded the prestigious Deauville Green Award in the category of “Transports & Eco-Mobility”.
The video was produced for the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment in the framework of the annual European Mobility Week, which seeks to promote sustainable urban mobility. Offered as a prize to the winner of the European Mobility Week Award 2010, it showcases smart transport solutions in the Portuguese city of Almada. Viewers get to know Almada’s urban transport system as they follow some of Almada’s citizens on their journeys through the city by tram, bus, and bike.
The Deauville Green Awards recognises audiovisual productions and actions promoting sustainable development and the preservation of the environment. Now in its third edition, the competition recognised outstanding documentary films, corporate films, and public awareness campaigns in 14 categories. An international jury selected the winning videos, which were presented at the three-day long festival in Deauville, France. ICF Mostra’s clip was selected as one of the winners among 300 entries coming from 30 countries on five different continents.
