To help raise awareness of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (DG ECHO) has mounted a public photography exhibition with assistance from ICF Mostra.
Since April 2014, millions have been displaced within Ukraine or have fled abroad due to continued fighting. To raise awareness and show support for the people of Ukraine, DG ECHO is organising a public photo exhibition highlighting humanitarian aid actions in Ukraine, focusing on the help provided through DG ECHO’s partners, especially to children. ICF Mostra helped curate the exhibit by selecting the photos displayed and helping tell the story behind each photo. Our team has also organised the layout and printing of the exhibit panels.
The people affected are in need of humanitarian assistance due to the combined impacts of conflict, displacement, extreme poverty and harsh winter conditions. In a gesture of solidarity, the EU and its Member States have contributed financial aid and relief items.
This poignant exhibition, titled Helping Children in Ukraine: the EU’s Humanitarian Response, showcases photographs from eastern Ukraine of EU-funded projects with four implementing partners of the European Commission, namely UNICEF, Save the Children, People in Need (PiN), and the UN’s World Food Programme.
Exhibition materials will be available in French, Dutch, and English.
