Two ICF Mostra videos produced for the European Commission Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV) are finalists at the 4th edition of the Deauville Green Awards, in the categories ‘Agriculture & Green Economics’ and ‘Health & Environment’. Each video has been awarded a Silver Trophy and is currently in the running for further awards.
“Habitat Natura 2000 – for nature and for people” aims to show the positive impact of parks in Natura 2000 areas, for the nature and for the citizens. Four clips in four European countries (Sweden, Germany, Slovakia and Spain) follow experts working in the field of preservation and people who have an economic activity in the area. It demonstrates how both interests can be compatible with Natura 2000 areas.
“Bristol, the 2015 European Green Capital” celebrates the winner of the European Green Capital Award 6th edition, Bristol, UK. The style of the clip was about capturing the essence of the city and the people, places and projects that made such a worthy winner, a kind of poetic vision of an urban environment putting space and sustainability at its heart.
Finalists are invited to the Deauville Festival to defend their productions and increase their chances of winning a Gold, Special or Grand Prix Award. The Award ceremony takes place on the 11th of June in Deauville, France.
The Deauville Green Awards is an international festival honouring audiovisual productions in the field of eco-responsibility. Corporate films, documentaries, advertising films and television programmes with special attention to the concerns of public institutions, local authorities, industrial enterprises and citizens committed to portraying eco-responsibility actions are evaluated in 15 different categories.
