For the EuroparlTV project (Web television of the European Parliament), Mostra is currently setting up a team of 44 journalists / translators (2 per official language of the Union).
The main tasks of the team members will be
- Subtitling TV programs
- Providing voice-overs and commentaries
- Assisting the Video Journalists during the shooting sessions and the editing
- Writing scripts with the journalists
- Translation of the transcripts and misc. texts
We are seeking candidates with the following skills
- Good knowledge of the European Union, its institutions and policies. Specific knowledge of the EP is an asset.
- Journalistic skills (e.g. writing and research)
- Journalists will work in their mother tongue (or translate from EN/FR into their mother tongue)
- A first experience in translation/interpretation or subtitling is welcome.
- A first TV or audiovisual experience is a plus.
We offer a full time fixed contract and the opportunity to participate to a very challenging project (we provide the necessary training if needed)
